Aleem Dar to umpire again in Bangladesh-India match

Pakistani cricket umpire Aleem Dar will perform his duty as the umpire during the match between Bangladesh and India.

The match will be held on July 2 at Birmingham in the UK. There is no alternative to win the match against India, if Bangladesh want to keep hope alive to play semifinal of the world cup.

In the last match of Bangladesh against Afghanistan held on Monday, Aleem Dar, who was TV umpire on that day, created controversy giving the decision of a catch of batsman Liton Das. It was repeatedly observed in the TV reply that the ball dropped and the fielder concerned picked the soil-touched ball. But Liton Das was given out as per the decision of TV umpire Aleem Dar.

Controversy was also created about the LBD decision of all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, although Aleem Dar did not give the decision in this regard.
