The results of this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations, held under ten educational boards, will be published any day from July 20 to 22.
A high official of the Dhaka Education Board confirmed this to newsmen on Tuesday.Sources said the board authorities have already sent a letter to the Education Ministry seeking permission in this regard.
Therefore, the results is going to be published any day from July 20 to 22 after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina approved any of these dates for publishing the results.
Usually, chairmen of ten education boards hand over the synopsis of the results to the prime minister and she makes formal announcement of the results.
Later, the details of the result are formally announced by education minister in a press conference.
A total of 13,51,505 examinees from ten educational boards took part in the examinations this year. Of the total candidates, 6,64,496 are male and 6,87,9 female.
Some 78,451 appeared in the examinations from madrasa board while 1,24,265 students under technical institutions this year.
