Russia to help Bangladesh in land management

Russia has assured Bangladesh to will help it with land management and resolving land feud.

Russian Deputy Minister for Economic Development Abramchenko Victoria Valeryevna gave the assurance to Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury at a bilateral meeting, according to a PID handout.

The meeting took place at Rosreestr head office in Moscow on June 20.

Saifuzzaman informed Valeryevna that land management is being reformed in Bangladesh and soon it will be fully digitalised.

Land Appeal Board Chairman Md Abdul Hannan, member of the board Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, land minister’s personal secretary Md Hafizur Rahman Chowdhury, deputy head of Rosreestr Nadezhda Samoylova and Maxim Smirnoff were present in the meeting.

The meeting discussed geo-Portal, block chain registration technology, agricultural land reservation and management, land survey, land zoning, scientific use of land and exchange of expertise, and technology.
