The entire nation erupted into celebrations as Bangladesh earned a spectacular victory against West Indies in ICC World Cup 2019 campaign in style defeating Windies by 7 wickets at Taunton on Monday and went on to express their hopes that Tigers will hold on to their good form in their upcoming World Cup encounters against Australia and India.

Celebrations engulfed the nation as Tigers completely outclassed Windies in the World Cup. Despite the match ending at midnight, the late hours couldn’t spoil the party for enthusiastic Tiger fans. This win reinforced the fan’s hopes that Bangladesh can break into the semi-finals.

An opinion poll was taken by Kaler Kantho regarding the chances of Bangladesh winning their matches against both Australia and India as Fifty three percent of the people expressed that Tigers can win against India and forty seven percent gave their opinion that Bangladesh will be able to defeat Australia in the World Cup.

“If Bangladesh manages to win against both Australia and India then you can count Bangladesh on winning the ICC World Cup 2019. This is a guarantee. But history teaches us that whenever Bangladesh win a match and get some praise, they don’t play well in their later matches,” said Nirupon Dey a fan of Bangladesh cricket.

“There is no doubt that India is a one of the best teams in the World Cup. But they will be apprehensive while playing against Bangladesh and after the victory against West Indies that fear has grown multiple times. We have to use this opportunity to win,” said another Bangladesh cricket fan Sajedul Sohan.

It appeared to the Tiger fans that winning against Australia seem much easier if Tigers know how to handle the Aussie cricketers and make strategies accordingly.

“Defeating Australia is looking to be quite easy task. But to achieve that a strategy must be made to stun Aaron Finch, Steven Smith and David Warner early in the innings. We have to handle the bowling of Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins to ensure victory,” said Saurav Ahmed Chowdhury.
