A fire broke out in a godown of Anwar Paper Limited at Mirzapur in the city early Monday.

Dulal Mia, Khulna Fire Service Station Assistant Director said, the fire broke out at 12:30 am.

On information, eight units of Khulna fire service rushed to the spot and doused the blaze at 1:30am.

The fire might be originated from electric short circuit, he added.
