Police recovered a throat-slit body of UBER driver from a private car in city’s Uttara area early Friday.

The deceased was identified as Arman, 37, son of late Abdul Hakim hailed from Fatemapur village under Ishwardi upazila in Pabna district.

Confirming the matter, Uttara West Police Station OC Md Abul Kalam told media that after being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered Arman’s body from a car run under UBER around 1 am.

Later, the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for an autopsy.

Police are looking into the matter as the procedure of filing a case to this end is underway, the OC said.
