Belal sings in Persian of Ananta Jalil’s new movie “Din: the Day”

Popular actor Ananta Jalil’s new movie “Din: the Day” featuring a song in Persian language was sung by Belal Khan.

In the song, Belal was accompanied Iranian actor and singer Mohammad Reza Hayati.

Recently, the recording of the song has been performed in city’s Mogbazar and Niketon studio. For the first time Belal sung a song in Persian language.

Belal Khan was awarded the National Film Award as a composer for the song 'Nishipakkhi' for the movie 'Nikabbar-er Mahapryan' in 2014. He has received extensive popularity with the song called 'Pagal tor jonno re'.

Speaking about his new song, Belal said, “This is a different experience for me to sing in a foreign language for the first time. I have heard that the movie will also be released in Iran. And I am very much excited that the Iranians will also listen to my song. In the song, I got Iranian singer Hayati as my co-star. Overall, I think this experience is going to be a milestone for my career.”

Did he face language challenge for the song? Replying to this question, Belal said “Since I have never sung in this language, I initially faced difficulties. Practising the song for three days, I have performed it.”

Belel Khan has also sung the song in Bangla. The song titles 'Che konam' in Persian and ‘Ki korbo’ in Bengali. The song has been directed by Asgar Rahemi.
