Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen has said that Japanese labour market has been opened for the skilled Bangladeshi workers through the recent visit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to Tokyo.

The foreign minister came up with the information while taking to reporters in his ministerial office in the capital on Monday.

“Japan will recruit skilled workers from Bangladesh after teaching them Japanese language,” he said.

Momen said there are many skilled manpower and professionals in Bangladesh and an opportunity has been created for them.

“We will invite the Emperor and the Empress of Japan to visit Bangladesh in 2022 marking the celebration of 50 years of Japan-Bangladesh diplomatic relationship,” he added.
