Banglabandha land port under Tetulia upazila of Panchagarh district went on a 9-day vacation from Saturday on the occasion of weekly holiday, Shab-e-Qadr and Eid-ul-Fitr.

The import and export will begin again from June 10 (Monday).

Mehedi Hasan Khan Babla, President of Panchagarh Export-Import Association, confirmed the matter.

Ejar Uddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Banglabandha Immigration Checkpost said  although the trading through the land port —among Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Bhutan—will remain suspended, the movement of travellers through immigration checkpost will be continued as usual at this time.
