President M Abdul Hamid returned home on Sunday morning after an 11-day visit to London and Germany for health check-up.
A VVIP flight BG 202 of Biman Bangladesh Airlines limited carrying the president and his entourage members landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:38 am on SundayBangladesh high commissioner to the United Kingdom and senior officials saw him off during his departure at the London airport.
Earliar, President went to London on May 15 on an 11-day medical trip where he had health check-up at Bupa Cromwell Hospital and treatment of the eyes at the Moorfields Eye Hospital. He also had another medical check-up at Frankfurt in Germany.
Abdul Hamid has been suffering from glaucoma for a long time. He has been regularly taking health check-ups in London since he was the speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad.
