Munnaka: Munnaka also called as big raisins, is very good for heart and helps in soothing dry cough. Soak four to five munnakas in water for an hour. Drain the water and squeeze them properly. Remove the seeds and put them in boiling milk.

Anjeer: Also known as dried fig, anjeer helps in digestion and prevents constipation when added to milk. Both make a great combo of nutrition. Fig also has natural sweetness, so you need not add sugar. Take two figs. Wash them thoroughly and slice into small pieces and add to boiling milk.

Almonds: Almonds can do wonders to your health. We always use this nut in milk delicacies. Hot milk containing lots of almonds (badam wala doodh) is quite popular in many places in India. Soak six to eight almonds for two hours. Drain the water and peel them. Chop them in thin slices and add to the milk while simmering.

Saffron: One or two strands are suffice for two glasses of milk which will finally reduce to one glass. Saffron is a very expensive spice but with few strands, it can do wonders. Add saffron strands into milk while boiling.
