Forest Department and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive recovered around 200 kilograms venison and two deer heads from Pathorghata upazila of Barguna on Friday night.

The forest department along with Coast Guard recovered the huge amount of venison from an abandoned boat in a river at Banaful residential area of Charlathimara at 3:30am.

Confirming the news, ASI of Pathorghata thana Md Monirujjaman said no one was arrested as the poachers managed to flee the scene sensing the presence of the Coast Guard.
