The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) submitted its annual report of 2018 to President M Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Monday.
An ACC delegation, led by its Chairman Iqbal Mahmood, submitted the report at 5:00pm.The delegation members included ACC Commissioners Dr Mozzmel Hoque Khan and AFM Aminul Islam and its Secretary M Delwar Bakht.
While talking to reporters after coming out of Bangabhaban, the ACC chairman said President asked the ACC to follow zero tolerance policy to curb corruption in education sector in the country. He also suggested for ensuring quality education in class-room.
“Apart from education, president also suggested necessary suggestions to curb corruption in health sector. There is no alternative of health and quality education to get demographic dividend,” he said.
ACC chief also said the President also suggested them for keep the corruption of the members of law-enforcement agencies under watch.
