Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has asked bank officials to enhance security measures in their offices after hotels at Gulshan in the capital.
The directives came at a view exchange meeting between DMP officials (Ramna division) and bank officials at a hotel in the capital.
Some 100 bank officials including bank managers were present at the view exchange meeting. High officials of police, including deputy police commissioner of Ramana division Md Maruf Hossain, were present on the occasion.
Maruf Hossain asked bank officials to install metal detectors, archways and CCTV cameras in their offices in the month of Ramadan in a bid to enhance security measures.
Besides, there were discussions on preventive measures against terrorism activities.
