Former national team right-arm pacer Nazmul Hossian has announced full-stop on his cricketing career.
He made the disclosure to the media at Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket stadium on Tuesday (yesterday).The 31-year old has played two Tests (5 wickets), 38 ODIs (44 wickets) and 4 T20Is (1 wicket) for the national side during his injury-riddled career
He made his Test debut in 2004 against India and the next Test he played was seven years later against Pakistan in Dhaka.
Nazmul played his last list A match for Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club during the 2018 season. The experienced campaigner has played 52 first-class matches and 69 list A matches since his debut back in 2004.
