Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will return home today (Tuesday) wrapping up her three-day official visit to Brunei.
According to PMO sources, a VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7:45 pm. She will leave Brunei for home at 5:00pm (local time).The premier went to Brunei on April 21 at the invitation of the kingdom’s Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. Sheikh Hasina held bilateral talks with Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. She also took part in different programmes including the event of Bangladesh-Brunei business forum.
Mentionable, seven agreements were signed between Bangladesh and Brunei during the visit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The agreements include (1) Assistance in waiving visas in government and diplomat passports (2) Assistance in using science and technology in agriculture (3) Liaison in the field of arts and culture (4) Cooperation in sports and youth-related activities (5) Cooperation in the field of fisheries (6) Assistance in the field of livestock and (7) Cooperation in the field of fuel and energy.
