And this time, Big B is making headlines for a different reason. The actor has become one of the highest taxpayers of the Hindi film industry. Reportedly, he has paid the amount of Rs 70 crores as the tax for the financial year 2018-19.According to a report, this was confirmed by Sr Bachchan's spokesperson.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh was last seen in Sujoy Ghosh's 'Badla' co-starring Taapsee Pannu. He played the role of a lawyer in the film.
On the other hand, he will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji's mythological drama 'Brahmastra'. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the film will hit the theatres in December.
