The Bangladesh government is likely to sign seven agreements with Brunei during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s three-day visit to its capital Darussalam.
The premier will go for a three-day visit to the capital, Darussalam, from April 21-23, at the invitation of Brunei Sultan Hazi Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said at a press conference on Thursday morning.
Apart from signing the agreements, the Bangladesh government is also likely to invite Brunei businesspeople to invest in the country.
The agreements are:
• Assistance in waiving visas in government and diplomat passports

• Liaison in the field of arts and culture
• Cooperation in sports and youth-related activities
• Cooperation in the field of fisheries
• Assistance in the field of livestock
• Cooperation in the field of fuel and energy
The Bangladesh government is likely to raise the issue of the Rohingyas with Brunei — who is one of the members of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean).
