BSTI starts drive against food adulteration in city ahead of Ramadan

Ahead of the upcoming month of holy Ramadan for Muslims, the Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institutions (BSTI) has started drive against food adulteration.
The BSTI team entered a water factory at Mirpur-10 in the capital on Thursday. They(members of BSTI team) also sealed off the factory for running it (factory) in an unhygienic condition. They also seized 1000 water-jars and destroyed those as the factory was running without licence.
According to a report of Bangla daily, the BST will launch their drive at Mirpur in the capital today against poisonous-chemical-treated fruits.
