HSC exams rescheduled

Some examinations of the ongoing Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalents have been rescheduled due to Shab-e-Barat, which falls on the night of April 21. 

Dhaka Education Board Chairman Prof M Ziaul Haque in a notice announced the changes and published the new schedule on their websites on Monday.

As per the revised routine, the examinations scheduled for April 17, 18 and 22 will be held on May 9, 11 and 12 respectively, while the exams for May 4 and 6 will be held at 2:00pm instead of 10:00am.

The first paper examinations of Arabic, Sanskrit and Pali will be held on May 9 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm instead of April 17.

The second paper examinations of Arabic, Sanskrit and Pali will be held on May 11 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm instead of April 18. The second paper examinations of Physics (theoretical), Accounting, Logic, and Business Organisation and Management will be held on May 12 from 10:00am to 1:00pm instead of April 22.

The first paper exams of Home Economics will be held on May 4 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm instead of 10:00am to 1:00pm while the second papers will be held on May 6 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm instead of 10:00am to 1:00pm.
