BDU finance body holds first meeting

The first meeting of the finance committee of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University (BDU) was held at the meeting room of the varsity’s city office at Mohammadpur in the capital on Sunday.

BDU Vice-chancellor Professor Dr Munaz Ahmed Noor presided over the function, says a press release.

Decisions on starting off the classes of the newly admitted students of 2018-19 academic session, revised budget for 2018-19 fiscal year and proposed budget for 2019-20 fiscal year were cleared on the meeting.

The decision of digitalization and modernization of the laboratories of the university was also taken at the meeting.

Among others, UGC director for Accounts and Finance Md. Rezaul Karim Hawlader (Current Charge), Joint-chief (Planning) of Secondary and Higher Education Department of Education Ministry Md. Kazi Monirul Islam, Joint Secretary Md. Saidur Rahman (Implementation-2) of Finance Department of Finance Ministry, BDU director for Finance and Accounts and Registrar (Current Charge) Md. Ashraf Uddin were also present.
