Co-finance Secretary of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Shahab Uddin resigned on Saturday.

Shahab Uddin, also the vice president of BNP’s Dhaka City (North), quit from all official posts showing the reason of familial issues and physical illness.

He submitted his resignation letter to the BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at party’s central office in city’s Naya Paltan.

“It is not possible for me to continue my duties due to family affairs and physical ailments. Under this circumstance, I would request the party high command to relieve me from all levels of the party,” Shahab said in his letter.
