Bangladesh Pratidin, the highest circulated Bengali daily of the country, has stepped into its 10th year journey.
Bangladesh Pratidin began the anniversary programmes on Thursday night by cutting anniversary cake.
Bashundhara Group Vice-Chairman Safwan Sobhan Tasvir inaugurated celebration of the anniversary by cutting a giant cake at the daily’s head office at East West Media Complex premises in city’s Bashundhara Residential Area on Thursday.
Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam, Kaler Kantho Editor Imdadul Haq Milon, Daily Sun Consulting Editor Nadeem Qadir, Bangladesh Pratidin Executive Editor Pir Habibur Rahman, Kaler Kantho Executive Editor Mostafa Kamal, News24 Executive Director Hasnain Khorshed, and Banglanews24.com Consulting Editor Jewel Mazhar attended the event.
Bangladesh Pratidin joint editor Abu Taher, deputy editor Mahmud Hasan, chief news editor Mashuk Chowdhury, news editor Kamal Mahmud, chief reporter Manjurul Islam, head of advertisement department Masudur Rahman and head of circulation department Billal Hossain Montu were also present at the cake cutting ceremony.
Mentionable, the broadsheet started its journey on March 15, 2010 as a venture of East West Media Group Limited which is owned by country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group.
