Indie-rock band Petty Never Grew has released their debut album online titled ‘The Pink Album’ recently.

The album has been produced by Rakat Zami under the label of The Mothership Records. It is comprised of seven songs based on the theme of love and loss, joy and despair, the ups and downs of human relationships.

The band was formed in 2015, to participate in a random Battle of the Bands under the self-explanatory genre of ‘Not Metal’. Their notable performances include One Billion Rising 2018 alongside Joler Gaan. Their first single ‘The Pink Song’ was released before the album and received a very positive response from the audience.

Singer and songwriter Rushmian Wadud is the founder and frontman of the band with vocal and guitar. Among others, Faruq Reza Mitul in guitar, Asif Ayon in bass guitar, Asif Hassan in drums and producer Rakat Zami, also in guitar.

The band can be defined as an indie super group. Before the formation of the band, Faruq Reza Mitul played guitars with Dhrubosshor. Asif Ayon completed the quartet on The Crowd. Asif Hassan played drums with Orfred.

The Pink Song, Ononto Bikel, Rupantor, Ek and Deyal are some of the notable songs in the album.

The album is available on both band and label YouTube channels and can be bought and streamed on sites like Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, Deezer by the 10th of March.
