The authority of the country’s first digital university Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University (BDU) has published the admission results of its first batch for 2018-19 academic session.
The first year honours’ admission results were made available on the university website http://bdu.ac.bd and admission related website http://admission.bdu.ac.bd at 10:00 am on Thursday.
Candidates were also informed of their results through SMS to their respective numbers.The selected students were chosen for admission based on their academic results (GPA) in HSC and SSC examinations.
A total of 8,505 admission seekers applied for 100 seats under the two newly-approved faculties of the university.
The selected students were asked to complete their admission process from February 27 to March 4.
The two faculties are -- Engineering Faculty and Education and Research Faculty. The courses under these two faculties are -- Bachelor of Science in IOT (Internet of Things) and Bachelor of Science in ICT (Information and Communications Technology).
