Yeasha Sobhan wins award from Singapore

Bashundhara Group Director Yeasha Sobhan has won a prestigious women empowerment award from Singapore.

 

She received the BlackSwan Women Empowerments Principles Leadership Award 2018 at Pride of Asia Series Awards and Business Summit held at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore on Monday, according to press release received in Dhaka.

 

Singaporean Parliament Member Patrick Tay Teck Guan, United Arab Emirates’ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Singapore Mohamed Omar Abdulla Balfaqeeh, Sri Lanka’s acting High Commissioner in Singapore OL Ameer Ajwad and Laos’ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Singapore Khonepheng Thammavong were present at the event.

 

URS-AsiaOne magazine and URS Media Consulting PL, a media company focusing on business, political and social issues in the entire Asia and GCC region, organised the summit in association with Emaar Properties and Adani Realty.

 

Asia’s Greatest Brands & Leaders 2018, Knight of Honour Awards, AsiaOneGlobal Asian of the Year Awards, Guest of Honour Awards, AsiaOne 40 Most Influential Asians under 40, Asia’s Greatest CXOs Awards, CSR Awards, India’s Fastest Growing Brands and Leaders, Bangladesh’s Fastest Growing Brands and Leaders, and BlackSwan Film Industry Awards, Jury Awards, AsiaOne Eminent Guest Awards were also handed over at the summit.

 

Apart from Yeasha Sobhan of Bashundhara Group, Managing Director of Accord Worldwide Dr Swetha Sundeepanand, CEO of Singapore’s New Savvy Anna Vanessa Haotanto, Director of Singapore’s Anu Agarwal Foundation Anu Agarwal, and Director of Sobtis Public School Akriti Sobti received BlackSwan Women Empowerments Principles Leadership Award 2018.
