The injured are assistant sub-inspectors Pradip Chakrabarty, 32, and Nur Nabi Tipu, 37, of Banshkhali Police Station.

Quoting In-charge of Chittagong Medical College Hospital police outpost Zahirul Islam UNB said a police team conducted a drive at the house of Jamir Uddin, an accused in an attempted murder case, at noon.

However, the family members obstructed the law enforcers during their drive, he said.
