Development works will be continued if  AL comes in power again: PM Sheikh Hasina


Prime minister Sheikh Hasina said all development works will be continued if Awami League comes in power in the upcoming election.


The prime Minister said your one vote will help to win Awami League and urged the people of Faridpur to cast their votes to ‘Boat’ symbol for continuing the development process.


There is many conspiracy to construct of Padma Bridge. If Awami  League will not come in power in the upcoming election, the construction work will be stopped, the Prime Minister said.


The Prime Minister came up with this remarks while addressing at a rally in Faridpur’s Bhanga today.


The prime Minister said young generation will take responsibility in country’s future development.


The Premier said parents should be very alert to their children on their activities.


The premier also said teachers also be very careful to their students so that they cannot be deviated.


Earlier, the premier left the capital for Tungipara from her official Ganabhaban residence on Wednesday and left Tungipara for Dhaka on Thursday.


On herway back of Dhaka today, the Prime Minister will join more rallies and election campaign at Rajbari intersection; Paturia ferry ghat area; Manikganj bus stand; Rabeya Medical College Hospital ground and Savar bus stand on the outskirts of Dhaka.


Hasina said only three and half years, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman turned Bangladesh into Least Development Country. But, after his assasinaton in 1975, the development process was stopped.


After 21 years when AL took power in 1996, we developed in many sectors. It was golden time for Bangladesh people from 1996 to 2001, she said.


When we again come in power in 2008, all countrymen even Faridpur people realized the development process, the premier said. We achieved 20,000 MW electricity. We will reach electricity to every door steps in country. We are giving scholarship to students. We are also giving free text of books. We alleviated poverty from country, the premier said.


We are alleviating terrorism, militancy and drugs from the society, she said.


We have reached into developing countries from LDC. We will celebrate bangabandhu’s  birth century  in 2020.
