Saudi expatriate killed in Cox’s Bazar road crash

 

A Saudi expatriate was killed and three others were injured while a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided with another three wheeler at Khurushkul union of Cox’s Bazar on Saturday night.

 

The deceased was identified as Romiz Uddin, 65, resident of north Mamun Para of Khurushkul union.

 

He came to Bangladesh to spend his time with his family.

 

A CNG passenger, who was with Romiz, said they were coming from Khurushkul union to Cox’s Bazar at noon. Romiz sat beside the seat of driver. A three wheeler coming from opposite direction collided with the auto-rickshaw, leaving Romiz critically injured. Soon after, Romiz was brought to Cox’s Bazar Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
