The results of 'Gha' unit admission test for the first-year honours courses of Dhaka University (DU) under 2018-2019 academic session will be published on Tuesday afternoon.
Vice Chancellor Prof Akhtaruzzaman will announce the result from the central admission office (room no-214) of the registrar building at 3:30 pm.
Earlier on Monday, hours after issuing a press release on publishing the results today (Tuesday), the Dhaka University authorities issued another press release saying that the result publishing has been postponed as per the directives of the VC over the allegation of question paper leakage.
Fourteen images of handwritten question papers of Dhaka University's 'Gha' unit entry tests were spread on social media around 9:17 am on Friday, 43 minutes prior to the beginning of the exam.
After scrutinising the images and the original question paper provided at the exam halls, it was found that 72 MCQ questions (19 in Bengali, 17 in English and 36 in general knowledge section) were matched.
The first-year honours admission test of “Gha” unit was held on Friday. A total of 95,341 candidates appeared in the entry test this year against 1,615 seats under the unit.
