Three people, including a woman and her minor daughter, were killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a lorry on Mymensingh-Haluaghat road at Madhupur village in Tarakanda upazila on Tuesday night.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Locals said the Mymensingh-bound bus collided with the lorry around 9pm, leaving a man dead on the spot and 12 people injured.
The injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared the woman and her daughter dead, said officer-in-charge of Tarakanda Police Station Mazharul Islam.
