Website on the achievements of Intellectual Martyrs of ’71 launched

The website “Omlan Shurjoshontanra” on the achievements, contribution and facts about the intellectual martyrs was formally inaugurated on 14th December, 2017.


On the website -, the interested people will find the martyred intellectual pictures, information, achievements and contribution to the liberation war.


With the assistance of the Liberation War Museum and overall supervision of Asiatic Marketing Communications Ltd, the initiative was taken by G-Gas. The honorable trustee of the Museum of Liberation war and the chairman of Asiatic Marketing Communications Ltd., Mr. Aly Zaker formally launched the website, which was handed over by the Managing Director of Energypac- Power Generation Limited Mr. Humayun Rashid.


After the inauguration, Aly Zaker said, ‘The loss of these brave heroes is irreplaceable. We have taken this initiative to treasure their memory and achievements under one platform.’


 The managing director of G-Gas, Mr. Humayun Rashid said, ‘this endeavor undertaken by G-Gas will aid this generation and the future generations to learn about our great intellectual warriors and inspire them to know more about our liberation war.’


Mr. Humayun Rashid was very optimistic of the database to be more diverse, prolific and sophisticated with everyone’s participation. Anyone can add any information or any relevant picture of the intellectual martyrs and support the Liberation War Museum through this platform. The launching program was attended by different officials of the Liberation War Museum, Asiatic AMCL and G-Gas with journalists of different print and electronic media.
