Two people were killed in road accident when a speeding truck rammed a motorcycle carrying them in front of Chuknagar petrol pump under Dumuria Upazila in Khulna district on Thursday evening.
The deceased were identified as Harun-or-Rashid and Mustafizur Rahman.
The accident took place around 6:30pm.
Officer-in-charge (OC) Dumuria police station Moshiur Rahman confirmed the matter. Both the driver and the helper of the truck fled from the scene soon after the accident, the OC added.
