Golfer Araf to participate in European tour

Araf Shardd, a 22-year old professional golfer is set to take part in the upcoming European tour qualifying school from scheduled to be held October 3 to November 16 in England and Spain, said a press release on Monday.
Araf has won six times in English Golf Union as an amateur with the most notable being the Lutterworth Amateur Championship in 2011. He also recorded two wins and five top-10 finishes as professional.
He will be participating in six Jamega Pro Tour events in a single stretch prior to European Tour qualifying school within August and September in England.
Araf said that he would play the events as preparation for qualifying school and hopes to do well there. He will play the Windmill Hill Open on Jamega Pro Tour starting from 7th August in Milton Keynes, England.
Rupayan Group, one of the largest real-estate conglomerates of Bangladesh, has landed a sponsorship deal with rising golfer Araf Shardd to take part in Qualifying School for European Tour.
