The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations scheduled for Sunday will be held on Friday from 9:00am. The education ministry postponed tomorrow’s examinations due to the BNP-led 20-party alliance's 72-hour hartal from Sunday.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid at an emergency press conference at his residence made the announcement on Saturday afternoon.
On February 15, exams on - mathematics (compulsory) under eight education boards, and English (irregular) and English 1st paper under Madrasa board, chemistry science-2 (1926, creativity) in SSC vocational under Technical Board, chemistry science-2 (8126) and chemistry science-2 (1726, creativity) and chemistry science-2 (8526, creativity) in vocational Dakhil - were scheduled to take place.
Due to frequent shutdowns, SSC and equivalent examinations of February 2, 4, 8 and 10 were rescheduled while the exam scheduled for February 12 was postponed.
