English Olympiad, the first of its kind in the world, is going to be held in Bangladesh.


Around 10,000 students already registered as early birds.


A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Daily Sun and WOC to organise the English Olympiad.


The memorandum was signed by Shiabur Rahman, acting editor of Daily Sun, and Mohammad Aman Ullah, Founder of WOC, on Monday at Daily Sun office.


Now students can registrar through online. The form is available at Daily Sun website and English Olympiad Facebook page


Registration will continue until May 20 this year.


Participants of English Olympiad will get a lot of preparation materials on Daily Sun – both print and online version.


Founder of WOC Mohammad Aman Ullah said “This English Olympiad will make thousands of global citizens, who will lead many global organisations and will represent our country.”


He said through the competition students can develop their speaking, reading, writing and listening skill.


Executive Director (M & S) Z M Ahmed Prince and some campus ambassadors of English Olympiad were present on the MoU signing ceremony.


WOC is a youth and charity organisation working worldwide for youth supremacy. It organises events for social leaders, volunteers and students. WOC is the organiser of World Orphans Day in more than 100 countries on April 20 and the creator of #NoWarNoHunger globally.
