The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Sunday has announced 15-member final squad for ICC Cricket World Cup (CWC) 2015.
Mashrafe bin Mortaza will be the captain of the team while Shakib al Hasan will be the Vice Captain.
Other members of the are—Mushfiqur Rahim (WK), Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riad, Anamul Haque Bijoy, Mominul Hoque, Nasir Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Taijul Islam, Rubel Hossain, Al-Amin Hossain, Sabbir Rahman, Arafat Sunny and Soumya Sarkar.
BCB president Nazmul Hassan MP announced the squad at the BCB office at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday afternoon.
Placed in Pool A with Afghanistan, Australia, England, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Scotland, the Tigers will start their World Cup mission taking on Afghanistan on February 18 at Manuka Oval in Canberra.
Among 15, nine players of the squad are going to play in the World Cup tournament for the first time.
