ICT-2 convicts David Bergman of contempt

The International Crimes Tribunal-2 on Tuesday found David Bergman, a British human rights activist and an award-winning British journalist, guilty of the contempt of court for disrespecting court by making remarks about the country's War of Liberation in 1971 in his blog post.
The judges said a 2011 blog post by David Bergman had "hurt the feelings of the nation" and ordered him to pay a fine of 5,000 taka ($65) or go to prison for seven days.
David Bergman, the editor (special reports) of the daily New Age, was present before the court during the pronouncement of the verdict.
