PCJSS warns off non-cooperation movement

Santu Larma led Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samiti (PCJSS) has threatened to wage a non-cooperation movement from May 1 next year if the government fails to “take concrete steps to ensure the full implementation of the CHT Peace Accord by this time.
PCJSS Chairman Jyotirindria Bodhipriya Larma known as Santu Larma, came up with the forewarning while addressing a press conference at a hotel in the capital on Saturday.
The press meet was organised to mark the 17th anniversary of the CHT peace accord.
Reading out a written statement, Santu Larma said that they have decided to stage a non-cooperative movement against the government from May 1, 2015, if it fails to take concrete steps to ensure the full implementation of the CHT Peace Accord 1997 within April 30, 2015.”
He further said that the government claim-- peace accord is being executing-- is noting but a sheer lie. It is giving false and confusing statements on the issue.
Depending on the situation, PCJSS has planned to stage both violent and peaceful demonstrations during the non-cooperative movement said Santu Larma replying to query.
