A man was killed and three others were injured as a bus hit a CNG-run auto rickshaw in Natunbazar area under Bahubal upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Gedu Miah, 45, son of Yearuddin, a resident of Uttar Sultani village in Sadar upazila.

Police said the accident occurred when a bus hit the CNG-run auto rickshaw in the area at about 9 am from opposite direction, leaving CNG passenger Gedu Miah dead on the spot and three others injured.

The injured were sent to Habiganj Sadar Hospital for treatment.

Kamaichhara police camp in-charge Rupokur confirmed the incident.
