Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman on Friday said youth can bring revolution in development in the country through taking proper technical education.
"About 65 percent of the country's populations are youth . . . If we can teach them technology, they could bring another revolution in the country," he said as chief guest while addressing a seminar titled "The Future of the Technology and Business-Opportunities for Youth" of BPO Summit-2016 in the city's Sonargaon Hotel.
ICT Division with assistance of the Department of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Bangladesh Association of Call Center and Outsourcing (BACCO) organised the two-day Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) summit from July 28.
Prime Minister's ICT Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy yesterday inaugurated the summit. Yeafesh Osman said the youth has been confident to do something and believed that they can take forward the country toward development.
Among others, Anjali Sarker, Team Leader Social Innovation Lab of BRAC, and Sohel Islam, Head of Engineer of Augmedix also addressed in the seminar.
