Adorned in boishakhi colours, Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden ushered in the joyous occasion of Pohela Boishakh from 13th to 15th April 2016, in sheer finery.
A treat for everyone was arranged– highlights included a lavish desi lunch/dinner buffet spread with a wide array of dishes comprising Pan-fried Hilsha Fish, Pabda Machher Kofta Curry, Potoler Dolma, and assorted bhortas followed by desserts like Patishapta Pitha, Roshomalai, Batasha and green coconut flesh, band performance of melodious traditional numbers, face painting, cotton candy station, fuchkas, chotpoti and pithas.
The hotel lobby and outlets were a bustling hub of activities buzzing with desi cuisine aficionados, foreign guests absorbing a new culture, children getting their faces painted, everyone thoroughly enjoying every bit of the day. The essence of the day was reflected amongst hotel staffs as well, who were dressed in an exotic fashion of red saris and punjabis, a stark contrast to the usual dapper suits.
Like always, Pohela Boishakh 1423 proved to be a huge success at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden and continued to inspire the hotel to innovate and dazzle guests by surprising them yet once again!
