BNP chairperson’s adviser Osman Faruq alleged that voting in the municipal elections across the country is going on amid massive rigging, reports UNB.
The BNP leader made the remarks while talking to reporters at the Election Commission on Wednesday.
“The voting is going on in January 5 election style, the ruling party is using various technique to manipulate the elections. We didn’t expect this type of election,” he said.
“The government is claiming that the election is being held in a peaceful manner but we don’t see peace,” he added.
Osman Faruq said the people of country know what is going on during the polls and they will judge whether it is a fair elections or not.
