11-party alliance calls Rajshahi division rally on Sat

The 11-party opposition alliance, led by Jamaat-e-Islami, has announced a divisional rally in Rajshahi on Saturday, to press for the implementation of July Charter referendum verdict, and mitigation of public sufferings.

The rally will be held at the Historic Madrasa Ground in Rajshahi city, said a press release issued by Jamaat-e-Islami on Thursday.

Jamaat Ameer Shafiqur Rahman will join the rally as chief guest, and leaders from allied parties will also attend.

Preparations have been taken for gathering hundreds of thousands of political activists and general people in the rally, the Jamaat press release added.

People from all walks of life are asked to join the rally to make it a success and help realise people’s demands, the press release noted.
