Mirza Abbas to be taken to Singapore today for advanced treatment

Prime Minister’s Political Affairs Adviser and BNP Standing Committee Member Mirza Abbas (MP) will be taken to Singapore on Sunday for advanced medical treatment.
According to his personal secretary Mizanur Rahman Sohel, Mirza Abbas is scheduled to be flown to Singapore by air ambulance between 11:00am and 11:30am. His wife Afroza Abbas and elder son Mirza Yasir Abbas will accompany him on the trip.
He is currently undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital Dhaka in the capital.
Abbas underwent brain surgery on Friday, after which he has been kept under close observation.
On Saturday morning, a CT scan of his brain was conducted, and the report showed positive results, said BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr Rafiqul Islam.
