Jamaat ameer visits Mirza Abbas at Evercare

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman visited Evercare Hospital in the capital on Thursday night to see BNP leader Mirza Abbas, who is currently undergoing treatment there.

During the visit, he spoke with Abbas’ wife Afroza Abbas and inquired about his physical condition and ongoing treatment. He also prayed for the BNP leader’s speedy recovery.

Shafiqur was accompanied by SM Khaliduzzaman, president of Dhaka Metropolitan North Jamaat Medical Thana.

On Wednesday evening, Mirza Abbas was admitted to Evercare Hospital after he suddenly fell unconscious while drinking water during iftar, according to his wife.

As his condition did not improve, he was taken to the hospital later that night for treatment.
