Redefining TVC Production: Creating TVCs Using AI and CG

In today’s fast-changing marketing world, brands face pressure to quickly create high-quality content at a competitive cost. Traditional methods of producing television commercials (TVCs) are being reconsidered. Live shoots, physical sets, large crews, and long post-production times are no longer the only choices available. At Beatnik Marketing Communications Limited, we are leading a new approach that uses artificial intelligence (AI) and computer-generated (CG) visuals to change how TVCs are made.

A Bold Leap into AI and CG-Driven Production Without Compromising Creativity

In today’s fast-paced media landscape, the demand for quicker production timelines continues to grow, but so does the expectation for uncompromised quality. Rising to meet this challenge, we recently produced a series of full announcer TV commercials (TVCs) created entirely through digital means, without a single live shoot for several of our clients.

Using cutting-edge generative AI tools, we developed realistic facial models and synthesised performances while preserving visual authenticity. To further enhance the realism and emotional depth of these AI-generated performances, we incorporated camera and object tracking alongside virtual cinematography techniques, including dynamic camera movements, depth of field effects, and environment-matched lighting. Traditional visual effects (VFX) processes were also applied to fine-tune and perfect the final visuals.

Each commercial was carefully designed to ensure lifelike performances that matched the tone and story of each brand. The visuals were complemented by computer-generated Product Windows and Brand Lockups that captured the unique personality of every brand featured.

This forward-thinking production approach significantly reduced turnaround times, making premium-quality advertising more accessible to brands of all sizes. The result: polished, professional commercials that deliver powerful brand messages without the logistical hurdles of traditional film shoots.

By embracing AI and CG-driven production, we have found a way to scale creative ideas rapidly and meet even the tightest deadlines, all while maintaining brand clarity, emotional resonance, and visual impact.

A Practical Solution for the Fast-Paced Digital Era

As attention spans decrease and the need for quick marketing content increases, brands are focusing more on speed and efficiency. For clients who need to launch campaigns very quickly, this approach is ideal. It’s about working smarter, not just differently.

Creativity Empowered by Technology

AI is undoubtedly changing creative industries. But at Beatnik, we see AI as a valuable tool for skilled storytellers and designers. AI does not replace but rather enhances human creativity. By automating repetitive or time-consuming tasks in production, we can dedicate more resources to conceptual development, strategic thinking, and creative experimentation. This change also opens up access to quality advertising. Even smaller brands or those with limited budgets can now achieve high-end production value without the high costs usually tied to large shoots.

Looking Ahead: The Future of Storytelling

We believe this is just the start. As AI technology keeps advancing, we will be able to tell more immersive and emotionally engaging stories through digital media. Virtual production, real-time rendering, and AI-driven personalisation are all on the horizon, and we are excited to dive into these new areas. At Beatnik, we are committed to merging creativity with technology, ensuring that every piece of content we create is not only technically advanced but also deeply human.

The future of advertising is about blending tradition with technology to tell stories that resonate, inspire, and drive business results.
