Rupayan Group chairman's mother Farida Begum passes away at 74

Farida Begum, mother of Rupayan Group Chairman Liaquat Ali Khan Mukul, died at the age of 74 on Sunday.

She suddenly fell ill at her residence around midnight on Saturday due to age-related complications. Her family members rushed her to a hospital in Gulshan, where doctors on duty declared her dead.

She is survived by four sons, grandchildren, relatives and a host of well-wishers.

Her namaz-e-janaza will be held after Zuhr prayers on Sunday at Gulshan Azad Mosque. She will be buried at Banani Graveyard following the prayers.
