Poster display campaign on road crash prevention held in Patuakhali

Bashundhara Shuvosangho on Tuesday organised a poster display campaign on the road adjacent to the Galachipa upazila parishad complex in Patuakhali to raise public awareness about preventing road crashes and encourage compliance with traffic laws.
Students and teachers of Base Build Digital Academy, local dignitaries and media personnel took part in the campaign.
Participants displayed posters highlighting causes of road crashes and preventive measures, urging pedestrians, drivers and students to obey traffic rules and use designated crossings.
Galachipa upazila unit Convener Md Mizanur Rahman presided over the programme, while Member Secretary Md Tarikul Islam Munna moderated it.
Shuvosangho Patuakhali district coordinator and Dainik Kaler Kantho Galachipa correspondent Saimun Rahman Elite attended as the special guest.
Md Mizanur Rahman said speeding, reckless driving, traffic violations, driver negligence, unfit vehicles and faulty roads are major causes of crashes, urging drivers not to use mobile phones while driving and called for strict enforcement of traffic laws.
