A crude bomb went off in front of the National Citizen Party (NCP) office in Dhaka’s Bangla Motor area on Sunday night.
The incident took place around 9:45pm, causing panic among commuters and pedestrians. No casualties were reported.
Members of the police visited the spot.
In addition, two crude bombs went off in front of the residence of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan in Dhaka’s Central Road area around 9pm.
Earlier, two more crude bombs exploded in the Karwan Bazar intersection around 7:30pm.
These incidents took place ahead of the International Crimes Tribunal’s verdict in a case against ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina on charges of crimes against humanity committed during last year’s July mass uprising.
On 13 November, the three-member ICT-1 set 17 November for delivering the judgement in the high-profile case.
